Das “Au Soleil” wird zum Vollmond am 4.9.2009 geöffnet sein. Wir werden mit Hr. Spenlehauer aus Biederthal Vögel auf ihrem Zug beobachten. Am 18.9.2009 wird Hr. Spenlehauer dann einen Vortrag über Zugvögel halten, die über das Elsass nach Süden ziehen

The bistro will open special on this full moon night evening for bird watching.. We will be looking for and at the migratory birds that fly over Biederthal on their way south. Mr. Spenlehauer will accompany us and on September, 18th will talk to us about the birds at the "Au Soleil".

Formé par la Bibliothèque Départementale de Prêt du Haut-Rhin, avec des conteurs professionnels, le groupe se produit depuis 1993 et anime des séances en bibliothèques, en milieu scolaire ou bien lors de soirées publiques pour adultes. Le but est de développer le conte, cette expression orale et originale qui nous vient de la nuit des temps dont le message fonde la civilisation et promeut des valeurs telles que la confiance en soi, la fraternité, le respect de l’autre etc

Filmvorführung: "Stella da Falla" von Reto Andrea Savoldelli. Unser Biederthaler Nachbar hat dieses moderne Märchen vom unerfahrenen Jungen, der in die Welt geht und dort nichts findet, was ihn länger fesselt, in seinem zweiundzwanzigsten Lebensjahr fürs Deutschschweizer Fernsehen gedreht. Es bildete 1972 den offiziellen schweizerischen Wettbewerbsbeitrag am Filmfestival Locarno. - Reto wird uns einiges zur Entstehung seines Filmes erzählen, der gewiss zu den merkwürdigsten Erscheinungen des Schweizerfilms gehört. Der Film existiert in verschiedenen Fassungen. Reto wird uns die kürzeste zeigen (ca.70 min.).

Reto Salvadelli has submitted the official Swiss contribution to the Locarno film festival in 1972 "Stella da Falla" , when he was 23 years old. Now he lives next door to the "Au Soleil" in Biederthal and he will tell about the creation of the film and we will show one of the several versions of the film (ca. 70 minutes).

In some unexplained past, Stella Da Falla (Andrea Savoidelli), riding horseback and hunting with a bow and arrow, meets with his father, who is wearing armor, and tells him it is time for him to experience the world. In a more modern setting, he is in Nepal with a teacher-figure. Later, he goes on a mysterious river journey, meeting what appear to be hippies. Günter Wehinger - Michael Jeup - Duo" with special guest Fernando Fontanilles

These three well know Swiss musicians play a rich repertory; they consider. Jazz, Latin and Classical as complements rather than opposites. Their technical expertise accentuates the compositions by Bill Frisell, Paul McCandless and Atilla Zoller . They will complete the evening with some of their own compositions. Not to be missed by the jazz fans!

Die drei Musikerpersönlichkeiten spielen ein Repertoire, das ihre stilistische Vielseitigkeit bestens reflektiert. Jazz, Latin und Klassik sind hier keine Gegensätze, sondern Teile eines neuen, spannenden Gesamtklanges. Technische Virtuosität fließt sparsam jedoch treffend in die Kompositionen von Bill Frisell, Paul McCandless oder Atilla Zoller ein. Eigenkompositionen und Transkriptionen über wenig bekannte Musikstücke runden das Programm ab.

Rencontre entre trois musiciens tres connu de la scene jazz Suisse: ce trio considere le jazz,latin et classique comme trois styles complementaires, plutot que de les opposer. Entre compositions personnelles et reprises ( Bill Frisell,Paul Mc candless ou encore Atilla Zoller) leur impressionante virtuosite et musicalite leur permet une interpretation ou technique et souplesse se cotoye sans aucune difficulte

Before visiting Mali, the main subjects of Vincent de Groot's photography were landscape and architecture.
Things can always change and they usually do. For Vincent, such a change came from the Malian people who ignited a passion for portraiture photography.

What do the people from Mali and other countries have that make them special in the photographer's eye? As with most art, it is difficult to explain in words. Vincent believes that words don't effectively express the feeling that is captured in a photograph. A simple glance from the subject, a smile, a gesture or the expression in the subject's eyes can say more than a thousand words could ever say.
